We are so thankful for the overwhelming response we have received from all across North American and the world. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! So many have donated supplies and finance while many others are willing to go and lend a helping hand. The response has honestly overwhelmed us, but that is a good problem! We are getting a handle on things and hope to soon have a streamlined system of processing applications for teams going into Haiti.
Our medical relief team is now on location in Haiti and will be there for the next few days doing clinics and assessing conditions for further medical tours. Some have asked if we needed clothing donations. At this time we do not need any clothing donated to the relief effort in Haiti, but we certainly appreciate the efforts of those who have gathered clothing. Perhaps these could be given to a local charity?
We are still in need of the medical supplies and personal care kits. Right now we have enough supplies for at least two 40’ containers and the first one will go out next week.
I have been moved lately because of the thousands of earthquake orphans now in Haiti. The future of these children was already bleak and now has taken a dramatic turn for the worst. Please, pray the Lord’s protection on these children.
