"We made our way church to church with a similar pattern. We would survey the damage, pray with the people and encourage them. We would then give out medication to those in need and conclude by encouraging the children with balloons and smiles." - CSI at work...

Earthquake in Haiti 6th

2/3/2010

Another shipping container was loaded today. There were approximately 1,070 family buckets ($50 value each), 950 boxes of personal kits (average of 20 per box, approximately $12 each), nearly $60,000 in medical supplies, 40 wheelchairs (averaging $300 each), and around $3,000 of other medical accessories (crutches, walkers, etc). All of this totaling $356,500 in donated supplies that was shipped out today. The estimated 2,200 lbs taken by the CSI team on the medical trip was valued at about $4,000 in donated supplies. This was left with the Haitian families.

Almost all of these donations were from individuals. This phenomena is unprecedented and seems to be growing by the day. Over 1,000 families will be impacted on this shipment alone, and more than 19,000 individuals will be benefactors of the generosity of people who truly care for them. Thank you for your continued support and prayer for the people of Haiti. Please check often for updates.
